Together they work on our feelings and have been reported to aid in releasing emotions. I personally used these oils for me and my friend. They release those emotions I wanted help in but others that I did not know I had. These oils aid through the scent to the brain by placing on the skin, inhalation and diffusing.

More Devotional, Than Bible,
God’s Little Princess Devotional Bible features Scripture selections from the International Children’s Bible (ICB).
Here are some of the other features of this book: “Down In My Heart”, “Beauty Secrets”, “Bible Princesses”, “My Hero”, “Take A Bow”, “I Adore You!”, “Princess Charming”, “Worthy of Love”, and “Royal Truths.”
The “Take A Bow” features share a dramatized skit for mothers and daughters to perform together. “I Adore You!” focuses on songs, music, praising God. “Princess Charming” is all about manners and etiquette. “Bible Princesses” focuses on women from the Bible. “Down In My Heart” focuses on memory verses. Each feature serves a purpose. I suppose that is where the “devotional” part comes in.
If you’ve got a young girl in your life–daughter, granddaughter, niece–then she may enjoy this one. Especially if she loves pink. Especially if she loves dressing up. Especially if she’s a girly-girl. But not all girls love these things. Some of these activities (“devotions”) may be more appealing than others.
I am not such a big fan of this one. But that doesn’t mean you won’t be. I would have liked to see more Scripture, less devotion. More emphasis on sharing God’s Word, less attention on the activities and extensions. It depends on the reader I suppose.

|Book Review – God’s Little Princess Devotional Bible,
With two little princesses in my own home, I completely relate to the idea that every little girls wants to be her own princess. This book does a great job at working to help parents to aid their daughters in the process of not only becomming their princess but as the book explains, God’s princess.
The book itself is very easy to read and understandable to young girls. The book is geared toward girls ages 4-7, but it could be read by ages a bit older as well. I found that the book itself it truly written on the level of a young girl. With terms typically heard from a young girls’ mouth, my eldest (Diva-J) had an easy time relating to what was said.
I also liked the fact that the book itself was written with many interactive components within it as well. Using not only the written language, but interspersing skits and other interactive components makes the stories, morals and values presented jump off the page.
I liked how the book was broken into different parts, including such things as:
Down in my heart – scripture memory
Beauty secrets – how to be “beautiful”
Bible – Princesses- girls and women of the Bible
My hero – scripture promises
Take a bow – dress-up and role-playing ideas
I adore you – kids songs and worship ideas
Princess charming – teaching manners, poise and charm
Overall this book was definitely a keeper and one that I would definitely recommend to all my reader who have daughters or who are connected to others with daughters!

|a devotional Bible for girls,
As my daughter is getting ready to turn one, I am really starting to think about what resources are available to help me as a parent. I think I know what the boys need a lot better than I know what my little girl needs. So, when I saw God’s Little Princess Devotional Bible, I was quick to pick it up. This devotional Bible is geared toward girls age 4-7 and I would say Walsh has done a good job writing for that age group. The Scriptures are taken from the International Children’s bible, which means they are written so that little girls will understand the verses.
Along with the Scripture, this devotional Bible contains several other features. Everything from Scripture memory, tips on being beautiful on the inside, profiles of women in the Bible, Scripture promises, skits, songs to sing, teaching manners and values. Each feature is full of fun activities and questions to help your little princess grow. If you are looking for something to help you and your daughter spend time in the Bible together, God’s Little Princess Devotional Bible will be a huge help.
There is only one problem I have with this book: the almost complete absence of dads within its pages. There are only four mentions of “dad” throughout the book, all in the combination of “mom and dad.” A few other times, parents are mentioned. But every other time there is a reference to a parent, it is always mom. And I understand the need for daughters to spend time with their mothers and the fact that during the day mothers are more likely to be home, but let’s not neglect dads. If there was a mention at the beginning of the book stating it was going to focus on the mother/daughter relationship, then I would be fine with it. If you are a dad like me and want to use this devotional with your daughter, then you will need to adjust some of the wording.
