I read somewhere that you can use essential oils to scent your laundry in the dryer by placing a couple of drops on a piece of cloth and throwing it in the dryer with your clothing. I was wondering what would be the best scent to use for this. I don’t really like flowery scents.

How about lemon, lime, grapefruit, sage, bergamot,
You need to be careful using oils in the dryer. Instead of doing this, get the following:
One sprayer bottle
One Gallon distilled water
One ounce WATER-based fragrance
Put the water and fragrance into a spray bottle and you now have linen water to spray on fabrics, use with ironing, or just to freshen up carpets and clothes. You will want to test on really delicate fabrics like silk or satin before using, but on most other fabrics, no problem. You can buy water-based fragrances online for about $1 per ounce.
I like that idea… I’d like to hear more about the water based fragrances…
